Attend Community Meetings
A community meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 6:30 pm at the Snyder Center, 6450 South Van Dorn Street. Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Chairman Jeff McKay, Supervisor Rodney Lusk, Planning Commissioner Christopher Landgraf and Delegate Garrett McGuire have been invited to attend. Details are posted on the Updates page and sent to mailing list subscribers.
The Franconia District Land Use Committee is also expected to hear an update from the developer on September 14, with a recommendation vote currently expected on October 5. County staff have indicated the Planning Commission would hear the application on October 7. None of those dates is confirmed on a published agenda. Any Franconia District resident may attend and speak at a Land Use Committee meeting.
