Wildlife Sightings

Documenting the wildlife that currently lives in and around the Beulah / Steinway wooded area.

Why Document Wildlife?

The approximately 10.9-acre wooded site at the center of the proposed development provides habitat for a variety of local wildlife. Residents regularly observe deer, fox, rabbits, hawks, owls, songbirds, and other species in and around this area.

Building a community record of wildlife sightings helps establish what currently depends on this habitat. This kind of documentation can be a meaningful part of the public record when the county evaluates the environmental considerations of the proposal.

Photos with dates and locations are most useful. We ask that submissions come from the area near the proposed development site so the record remains focused and credible.
